ME Foggy Dog is raising funds to support ME Research UK through their BED for Severe M.E. campaign on October 29.
The project was launched in 2024 and highlights the experiences of people who live with severe ME/CFS. For many, being bed- or housebound is a daily reality, with pain, post-exertional malaise, and more making everyday activities difficult or impossible.
The campaign takes its name from the role a bed can play in the life someone with severe ME/CFS. It brings together a range of activities designed to raise awareness and encourage people outside the ME community to show their support. These include wearing pyjamas to work, purchasing campaign badges, donating, and joining the online BED party.
This year, ME Research UK is one of two beneficiaries of the campaign, alongside Smile for M.E.
We are grateful to ME Foggy Dog for choosing to support ME Research UK and for helping bring attention to the experiences of people living with severe ME/CFS.
Initiatives like this help keep the disease in the public eye while supporting the research needed to change the future for people affected by the illness.
To participate in the campaign, you can donate on JustGiving to support ME Research UK or visit the ME Foggy Dog website to learn more.
