Prof. Andrea Polli and Jolien Hendrix from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Brussels, Belgium are co-first authors of a new paper, acknowledging funding from ME Research UK, which looks at whether patterns of DNA methylation in the blood are linked to a person’s diagnostic group (ME/CFS or fibromyalgia), to the severity and type of their symptoms, or to both.
While this study is not directly funded by ME Research UK, the group used samples obtained during their previous ME Research UK-funded project.
