The team at ME Research UK is very grateful for all the support which the charity receives from its active fundraisers. At the best of times fundraising can seem a daunting prospect but without your support we could not continue to inform, influence or invest in ME research globally. Our current projects simply would not be funded.
Feel inspired? Our Fundraising Guide gives tips and links to resourses to get your support off to a flying start.

On 27th June it will be 25 years since Veronica Jones got the ‘fluey virus’ that became severe ME. But, as she says, she was lucky – “I did have good life experiences first, unlike the many before and since who got ME as youngsters and remain ill, as there is still no treatment or cure.”
21st June will be Veronica’s birthday and she decided to mark both dates by asking for donations to ME Research UK’s Research Fund.
Sarah Robinson’s 4 x 40 miles 40th Birthday Challenge!
“My plan is to walk, jog, swim or cycle 40 miles every week, for a month, up to my birthday (which is more than double my current weekly average). Any donation is really appreciated as it makes me so pleased to feel that I am doing something positive to support my sister.”
Ben Furniss games with friends and family but he hopes ratchet up the play and raise funds for ME Research UK as a dear friend of his is affected by ME. Whether the donation is £1 or £10 anything is greatly appreciated. Participation is open and progress can be watched for free but donations are invited.
