KiltWalk 2026 – Registration Open

Kiltwalk is a unique charity that enables walkers to raise money for any Scottish charity and, as ME Research UK is based in Perth, we are eligible to participate – but we need your help.

Thanks to Sir Tom Hunter and the Hunter Foundation every pound raised by our walkers will be used to support of work. 2025 saw tens of thousands of Kiltwalkers take part in events held in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee, and Edinburgh. Glasgow Kiltwalk 2025 alone attracted so many kind-hearted walkers that organisers had to add an extra day to create the world’s biggest ever Kiltwalk, with 19,000 people walking for 1,100 Scottish charities. 2025’s Kiltwalk raised over £7 million for 1,650 Scottish-registered charities.

To ensure Kiltwalk remains accessible to as many people as possible, entry fees have been kept at £20, encouraging greater participation across Scotland. Supporters can choose between 3 different distances – the Mighty Stride (23miles), the Big Stroll (14miles) and the Wee Wander (3miles).

There are 4 Kiltwalks planned for 2025 throughout Scotland on 5 different dates and in 4 locations. Registration (and payment of an entrance fee) is required for each event through the Kiltwalk website.

Registration is now open!

NB Glasgow Kiltwalk returns as a two day event in 2026 – a 14 mile Big Stroll from Clydebank to Balloch on Saturday 25 April and all 3 distances – Mighty Stride (23miles), Big Stroll (14miles) and Wee Wander (3miles) on Sunday 26 April.
