ME Research UK is delighted to announce the winners of our first Founders’ Science Writing Award, which was on the topic of “The future of ME/CFS research”.
First prize was awarded to Hollie Watmuff from New York University, while the second prize went to Krista Clarke from the University of Surrey.
Both are postdoctoral researchers, and the judging panel was very impressed with their insight into the world of ME/CFS research, and their ability to explain scientific principles clearly and engagingly.
You can look forward to reading Hollie’s entry in the next issue of Breakthrough magazine, and both essays will also be published on our website next year.
