Dr Francisco Westermeier and colleagues have just published more results from their ME Research UK-funded study looking at endothelial dysfunction in ME/CFS. In this paper they report reduced production of nitric oxide in endothelial cells exposed to blood plasma from people with ME/CFS. There will be a more detailed discussion of these findings in the next issue of Breakthrough magazine.
