Fundraising Focus – November 2025

All of us at ME Research UK are so very grateful for the support the charity receives from its fundraisers. It is only because of your support that we can continue to inform, influence, and invest in ME/CFS research globally. Without you, our current projects simply would not be funded.

So – join us as we thank all of our amazing fundraisers. And, if you feel inspired, why not look at our Fundraising Guide which gives tips and links to start your own project?

Angelina Rizza is raising funds for her friend Rita’s 60th birthday.

She says: “The only gifts she would like is for us to contribute to fund medical research into ME. No words needed for those close to her who understand the impact of very severe ME on her and her family’s life.”

Thank you so much, Angelina. And happy birthday, Rita. We wish you the best.

Nick Josselin-Mellish arranges Letters from Santa every year for different charities, and this year he is supporting ME Research UK.

He says: “Merry Christmas.”

Merry Christmas to you too, Nick. Thank you so much for all that you do, both for ME/CFS and all of your charitable activities.

Anya Mu is walking 10 miles for her mum who has had ME for 31 years.

She says: “I am therefore walking from my home to Piece Hall to raise money for ME Research UK, where my mum’s first job was at 16. It was the first job she had to leave due to ME. My mum and I have often had a coffee together in the Piece Hall when she was feeling well enough to go, so it’s a special place to both of us.”

Thank you so much, Anya. That is such a wonderful thing to do – and we wish your mum the best.
