Fundraising Focus – July 2026

We are so grateful to every single person who chooses to fundraise in aid of ME Research UK. It is only because of their support that we can continue to inform, influence, and invest in biomedical research into ME/CFS globally.

Without them, our current projects simply would not be funded.

Each month, Fundraising Focus is our way of saying thank you and celebrate the people behind the fundraising.

Naomi Harvey lives with ME and has since she was 15.

“For my 40th birthday this year, I am asking for donations to ME Research UK to help support the small groups of scientists who are working to understand this devastating disease.

Happy birthday, Naomi – and thank you so much. We wish you well.

Katrina and Mark are fundraising in aid of ME Research UK for Beth’s birthday.

Katrina writes: “Beth has suffered with ME/CFS for the last 3 years. Previously really active, fit and healthy the illness has taken so so much away from her. On July 11th she turns 21 and Mark is hoping to complete his 100th Park Run.”

Thank you so much, Katrina and Mark. Give Beth our best.

Donald Jack is participating in the Great Scottish Run 2026 in aid of ME Research UK.

He says: “ME is a cause very dear to my heart. I have gotten to know someone living with ME and have seen how it effects the lives of those who suffer from the condition. It can have a devastating impact on quality of life and is a very misunderstood and under treated condition.”

Thank you so much, Donald – and good luck.
