The team at ME Research UK is very grateful for all the support which the charity receives from its active fundraisers. At the best of times fundraising can seem a daunting prospect but without your support we could not continue to inform, influence or invest in ME research globally. Our current projects simply would not be funded.
Feel inspired? Our Fundraising Guide gives tips and links to resourses to get your support off to a flying start.
For a landmark birthday, supporter Sheila Warbis is asking for donations to ME Research UK to mark her special day.
“I am raising money for ME Research UK because having ME I would like to help others”.
Let us all wish Sheila a very happy birthday and send a little something to her Just Giving page.
On Sunday 19th September, at approximately 8am UK time, Simon Phillips will have taken the somewhat unusual decision to jump out of a perfectly good aeroplane, freefall for approximately 45 seconds and then put his life in the hands of an oversized facemask – all in aid of ME Research UK.
Consdering Simon is petrified of heights, small planes and diving in general, his chosen fundraising method is quite a challenge. Give his fundraising a boost!
Setting out on 9th September, Tim Anfilogoff, and friends Matthew and Peter will be walking the 156 mile Hebridean Way in aid of ME Research UK.
The walking route encompasses 10 islands, rugged hills and views of the impressive Atlantic coastline as it snakes its way from Vatersay to Lewis.
As Tim writes “Walking 156 miles to raise money for ME research for ME Research UK because My daughter’s had this horrible illness since 2013. “

Finally, We thank all team members of Claire Carter’s Team Run for M.E. 2021 who raised so much awareness and funds for research as they walked, ran, swam, and cycled during the spring. We are honored to have been chosen as this year’s charity.
