ME Research UK has welcomed the release by the UK Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) of ‘My full reality: the interim delivery plan on ME/CFS‘ and commented fully on the provisions as they relate to research and the limitations the charity sees in the plans.
Attention now turns to the public consultation phase and your view are now sought by the Department. The draft Delivery Plan is a long document but an ‘easy read‘ version has been provided.
The consultation seeks views on an interim set of actions to improve the experiences and outcomes of people with myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) that have been developed in collaboration with people living with, working or interested in the condition. It will inform the development of a final cross-government delivery plan on ME/CFS.
