Drs Elisha Josev and Sarah Knight and colleagues from Murdoch Children’s Research Institute in Melbourne, Australia have recently published more results from their ME Research UK-funded study looking at neurological aspects of ME/CFS in children and adolescents.
Their new findings suggest that the brain white matter changes found in adults with ME/CFS are not yet present in adolescents with the disease, and may be related to older age and/or a longer duration of illness.
