The UK ME/CFS Research Collaborative (CMRC) held both an Executive Board Meeting and its Annual General Meeting on 27th April 2017 to discuss relevant issues, such as updated plans for the autumn 2016 conference in Newcastle and research matters. The draft Minutes to both meetings are provided below.
Launched in 2013 (see our overview of the event), the aim of the CMRC is to promote the highest quality of basic and applied evidenced-based and peer reviewed research into ME/CFS by bringing together national agencies, ME/CFS charities, and working researchers from across the UK who wish to work towards that common goal.
Registration is now open for the 2016 CMRC Conference at Newcasle which will be held on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 September 2016 at Novotel, Newcastle Airport. The first day of the conference is open to researchers and all CMRC members. Day two is for researchers only.
The updated Conference Programme is now available and speakers now include Zaher Nahle (Vice President for Research & Scientific Programmes, Solve CFS/ME Initiative) focusing on Solve CFS/ME Initiative’s biobank.
