Make a donation by credit/debit card over the phone
If you would like to make a donation by credit or debit card over the telephone, please call us on 01738 451234 between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday. We gratefully accept Delta, Mastercard, Switch and Visa cards.
Make a donation online
Online donations can be made using the Charities Aid Foundation e-fundraising service. This is a secure transaction environment managed by CAF on ME Research UK’s behalf. You can donate using a variety of methods, including Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch and Solo, and either make a single donation or set up a regular direct debit.

Make a donation by post
You can also make a donation by credit/debit card or cheque by post to the ME Research UK main office. Download a donation form (pdf 334 KB) here. Please make cheques payable to ME Research UK. If you wish your donation to go exclusively towards funding our portfolio of biomedical research projects, please specify — in the letter or on the cheque — that you are donating to the Research Account. You may be able to help us further by completing the Gift Aid declaration form (pdf 70 KB) allowing us to reclaim the tax on your donation. You can read more information about Gift Aid here.
Make a donation via text messaging
Through JustTextGiving, donations can now be sent to ME Research UK from your mobile phone. It is simple, quick and easy, and we receive all your donation without any commission being taken off. The maximum that can be donated in a single text is £10, and the money donated is deducted either from your call credit or added to your phone bill.
To donate, text “MEUK01” and the amount to 70070. The donation can be £1, £2, £5 or £10. For example, to donate £2 the message would read: “MEUK01 £2”, and should be sent to 70070. You will receive a thank-you message and an opportunity to add GiftAid to the donation.
Set up a standing order
Regular donations can be made by setting up a standing order with your bank. Download our Standing order form (pdf 301 KB), complete your details, and return it to ME Research UK.
